A 25-year-old woman died after being pulled from Lake Michigan near Loyola Beach late June 10.
Chicago Police Department (CPD) officers pulled the woman’s body from the water in the 1200 block of Touhy Avenue at 11:13 p.m. Saturday evening, according to CPD News Affairs Officer Anna Pacheco.
The woman was transported to Presence Saint Francis Hospital in Evanston where she was pronounced dead, Pacheco said.
The Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the woman as Chittina J. Davis of the 8800 block of South Emerald Avenue. Further details are pending.
Area North detectives are investigating the death, according to Pacheco.
